Mike Stud’s Stud Summer Tour

For the first time in over a month, I finally have a second to breath so I figure it’s a perfect time to reminisce on how incredible things have been lately. I know it’s the middle of October but because I don’t always play by the rules, I’m going to bring it back to the second weekend of September and a classic tale of Meg’s Saturday Shenanigans. This time, my travels brought me to New York City’s Best Buy Theater for the last show of Mike Stud’s “#StudSummerTour” and easily one of the most ridiculous nights of my life.

With some help from Sammy Adams, aka one of my favorite people in the world, I found myself in the VIP section once again. Hey S, I know I’ve thanked you a million times but you’re truly one of a kind for making sure my name is always on the list! Although I’ve always known Mike Stud to be an incredibly talented artist, I had never seen him perform live. Although I’ve listened to his tracks countless times, I went to Best Buy Theater with no expectations, wanting to give Mike a fair chance to make an everlasting impression through his live performances and stage presence. Final verdict? Definitely impressed!

For those of you unfamiliar with all things Mike Stud, you’re missing out big time! The twenty-five year old Rhode Island native is simply taking over the game right now and if my predictions are correct, he won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Stud’s single Closer is no longer only taking over my iTunes library; within the past few weeks, Closer has become the most added song to rhythmic radio. If that’s not a huge accomplishment for a kid who thought baseball was his destiny, I don’t know what is.

Although Stud just wrapped up his “#StudSummerTour,” he’s preparing for his upcoming “Closer” tour. With stops planned in Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, there’s a good possibility that Mike Stud is headed to your city. On the fence about whether you should attend the “Closer” tour? Check out my “top five reasons to attend a Mike Stud concert” list, posted below.

  1. He’s not hard to look at—and neither is his audience: It’s no secret that Mike Stud is easy on the eyes. At 6 foot 2 with dark hair and light eyes, it’s hard to not find Stud attractive. Looks aside, his athletic skills combined with his onstage talent are enough to make anyone’s heart swoon. But, believe it or not, the good looks extend far beyond the stage. Nine times out of ten, the audiences at Mike Stud concerts are some of the most attractive people in the area, and possibly the state. Don’t believe me? Let’s just put it this way—Mike Stud’s concerts always include the three Bs: boobs, butts and baseball players. Whether you’re a boy or a girl enjoying an extremely fun concert, what more could you ask for?
  2. He has the nicest mom in the world: Given access to the VIP sections of sold out shows obviously comes with an abundance of perks but each concert always comes with some unexpected experiences. On September 12, I found myself on Best Buy Theater’s VIP balcony, next to the second nicest woman I’ve ever met (sorry, Jean always comes first—love you mom!). I’m not going to lie, at first I was kind of confused as to why an older woman who was clearly a mom would be at a Mike Stud concert but after some small talk and a few laughs, everything made sense—I was sitting next to Mike Stud’s mom and the rest of his family, all of whom came to town just for the concert! If family is important to you, Mike Stud’s concert is definitely the place to be. He was giving his mom special shout-outs all night long and she was sighing every time he chugged a beer. Mrs. Seander, I think that’s a mom thing, just ask Jean!
  3. It’s not just a concert—it’s a full-blown party!: Although I try my hardest to stay out of every mosh-pit, the mayhem in the floor section of Mike Stud concerts seems like a ton of fun! I’ve watched my fair share of “Touring’s Boring” episodes and I know what Mike Stud shows consist of but living them firsthand is a completely different story! There’s plenty of partying going on in the audience and trust me, that vibe carries its way right onto the stage. There is PLENTY of partying happening when Mike Stud is on stage! Between beer chugging concerts, shirts flying off and good vibes filling the room, a Mike Stud concert is the place to be if you’re looking for the party of the year!
  4. You never know who’s going to show up: Living so close to New York City has obvious perks, one of which includes incredible guest performers at almost every concert. Which artist wouldn’t want to perform in New York City? Trust me, there was no shortage of special guests as Mike Stud took the stage for the final night of his #StudSummerTour in New York City. Asking Sammy Adams, Huey Mack, Conrad, Joe Santagato, Chris Kreider and Micky Blue to join him on stage, Mike Stud takes the prize for the best special guests! Plain and simple, they killed it!

Last but certainty not least… He puts on one hell of a show: I’ve been to my fair share of concerts over the past few years (granted, most of them involve thousands of screaming fangirls) but Mike Stud definitely ranks toward the top of my list—there’s no way around it!

Did I do my job and convince you to go to a Mike Stud concert? Now’s definitely a good time to head over to mikestudofficial.com and grab your tickets before your city sells out! Also, send us a text at @weknowthedj and let us know your thoughts on Mike Stud!
